This morning the Science Department delivered Swap Shop. We looked at resources developed by Science for KS3; which embedded literacy into the curriculum, provided differentiation and encouraged independent work. Through using these resources the department have already seen an increase in student progress.
The Science Department also showed us how they are getting their students to respond to feedback, by adapting the resource shared by the IT department at last week's Swap Shop (this encourages students to reflect upon their work and independently investigate how to gain more marks).
Finally, we all had the chance to look at the students' Stem Projects which were very impressive...
